Case Study
Context
Bosch UI 2 is a fork of shadcn giving over 50 developers in our department the flexibility to use either the classic Bosch design system or an improved version I was responsible for. Throughout my PhD I consulted leadership on frontend and AI topics, helped define the tech stack and architecture, and facilitated design meetings to align designers and developers. The library itself was built by students I supervised, pairing a scalable, impactful outcome for the department with room to grow their engineering practice.
