- What kind of projects do you take on?
- I work on AI product design and engineering, consulting, workshops, and rapid validation projects. The best fit is when model capability is largely in place and the gap is product clarity, adoption, and execution.
- How quickly can you start?
- Usually within a few weeks. Short advisory or validation sprints can often start earlier than longer embedded builds.
- Do you work on-site or remotely?
- Mostly remote, with on-site days when useful for kickoffs, workshops, or key alignment moments. I live in Germany.
- What does a typical engagement look like?
- Some engagements are short and focused (strategy, validation, prototype); others are longer embedded product and engineering work. We define scope, milestones, and outcomes in the first call.
- What's your rate?
- I work on a day-rate basis. The exact amount depends on engagement type, duration, and scope of responsibility; after an initial conversation, you'll receive a concrete offer promptly.
- Do you work with non-profits?
- Yes. If you're a non-profit, I'll take on a limited amount of work pro bono each year. Tell me about the mission and the problem, and we'll find a scope that's useful.
- Are you open to research collaborations?
- Yes. I still actively participate in science — reviewing, publishing, and collaborating with researchers — and I'm open to joint projects, co-authored papers, and applied-research engagements where design and engineering meet academic work.
