Context
A procurement platform built from scratch for hundreds of internal users at a Fortune 500 company. I led the first seven months full-time as sole engineer — owning design, frontend, and key backend features in Vue and Spring — and validated the approach through user tests and expert interviews, which later became the foundation of my first PhD paper. The team then grew to five (one product owner, four full-stack engineers) and the platform has since scaled to an internal group of 15. It unifies supplier discovery, request-for-quote and auction workflows, and data visualization in one workspace — replacing fragmented processes spread across email and spreadsheets.
